Provision of advice and support to groups in completing applications
Review of Expression of Interest. Invitation to Full application and independent Assessment
Assessing applications to ensure they meet the criteria specified by the donor including:
Establishing the financial position and governance of applicants to ensure funds are used for the correct purpose and will be managed properly
Checking applications to ensure they are authentic and adhere to Equal Opportunities and child protection/vulnerable people policies
Liaison with all applicants to get a more detailed understanding of the project, its full potential and capabilities
Support and administration of local grant panel meetings held with client
Making payments from your Fund to successful groups in line with agreed fund criteria
Notifying unsuccessful applicants with feedback and where possible signposting them to another fund
Providing annual Fund statements including details of all amounts applied for and grants awarded, projects supported, numbers benefiting, nature of groups and breakdown of geographical areas
Financial management, accounting and ensuring independent auditing
Annual returns to the Charity Commission and Companies House
Trustees to undertake regular investment reviews, monitoring inspections and revisit the agreed criteria
Regular agreed meetings with donor
