Wellbeing in Care Homes

Dan lives in a care home at Enham Trust and had begun searching for employment before Covid-19 put a stop to everything. Having to put his plans with family and friends and dreams of getting a job on hold has been incredibly disappointing for him.

But determined to keep his spirits high, Dan is particularly proud to have helped to develop a new sensory garden for the benefit of all the other residents, where he has been cutting willow and learning to weave the fence panels needed for the garden.

This is possible thanks to the Enham Trust wellbeing project ensuring the mental and physical wellbeing of hundreds of disabled people, which has been supported by a grant from the NHS Covid-19 Fund and HIWCF donors.
