If you are considering joining us, we are a small team working extremely hard to encourage local giving for local needs in our local communities, to improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people. Our team members are based mostly in the Basingstoke area and we have an office in central Winchester. However, due to Government guidelines on Covid-19 we are all working from home until the restrictions ease.

We are currently seeking a well organised Grants Assessor for our Solent Supporting Employment Programme, with good written, analytical and verbal communication skills. Experience of grant assessment is an advantage and this position will support the Contracts Manager.

Grants Administrator – Part-time – NOW CLOSED

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Grants Administrator to play an important role in supporting the HIWCF grants programme.

You will support the Grants Administration Manager and be the first point of contact for all grant enquiries, be the key grants database administrator and ensure that all aspects of HIWCF’s grant programme are handled with efficiency and professionalism.

  • Job Location: Currently Home Working (with office facilities currently based in Winchester)
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Contract: £18,000 per annum (pro rata)
  • Fixed Term until 30th April 2021
  • Flexible working is available

ESF Admin Assistant – Part-time – NOW CLOSED

The Solent Supporting Employment Programme has been created by the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership and is supported by the European Social Fund, HIWCF fund holders, Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council

The fund has been created to provide grants to support organisations who are able to reach and work with individuals with complex barriers to employment, enabling them to move closer or into employment. The fund provides grants of £30,000 to £60,000 to groups working in the Solent LEP area.  Priority being given to those working in areas of the highest unemployment and deprivation.

HIWCF are now seeking a part-time ESF Admin Assistant to help support the ESF Contracts Manager and Finance Manager to organise the administration and finance systems required to deliver the £1.76m Solent Supporting Employment Programme (SSE) across South Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

  • Job Location: Home Working/Office within Hampshire
  • Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Contract: £8,485 per annum (FTE £20,930)
  • Fixed Term until 31 March 2023
  • Flexible working available
