Rowan’s Hospice, based in Waterlooville received a grant from the Kenwood Community Fund for their ‘Eating for Health’ project combining theory lessons and demonstrations with practical cooking lessons led by a qualified dietician. The project supports individuals who due to a life-limiting illness are experiencing difficulty with eating or cooking, either due to loss of appetite, changes in taste or altered domestic circumstances.

“The project will enable the Hospice to support patients right at the beginning of their illness, with the emphasis on living as well as possible”.
