HIWCF Response to the Coronavirus Outbreak
The Coronavirus outbreak is a life changing event and we recognise that many smaller, local charities and community groups will be concerned about its impact on their work, their beneficiaries and the communities in which they live and work. The HIWCF Team will do everything we can to continue supporting the local community at this very difficult time. Please check our News Page for latest information.
‘We’re All Together’ Fund
The need for local communities to help each other during the coronavirus pandemic is more vital now than ever and HIWCF is asking Hampshire businesses, families and residents to join together and support the HIWCF ‘We’re All Together’ Fund to help those facing distress and hardship caused by the coronavirus outbreak in our area. Please donate to help us support our local community and voluntary groups via virginmoneygiving.com/fund/AllTogether
National Emergencies Trust
HIWCF is working with the National Emergencies Trust, on a new Fund set up to help local charitable groups to support those suffering hardship as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. HIWCF has been chosen to distribute the money to local charities and community groups across the region, ensuring that funds reach those that need them most. Donations via The Big Give will be doubled for a short time.
We specialise in awarding grants to smaller, lesser known charities and community groups.
We are committed to building funds and distributing grants to support community projects across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth
